Hi there! My name is Sherrie. You are completely shocked, right? I usually prefer people to leave off the second "Sherrie" when addressing me. It just seems too impersonal. One "Sherrie" will do just fine. Thanks!
I am a firm believer that 40 is the new 20 (ignore that fact that my kids are now 20… we can AND will share birthdays and all the “20” numbered candles will be reused for the entire decade).

Life is good right now… really good. Not always how it’s been for me. Writing has been a creative and
therapeutic outlet for me. Sometimes it
has helped me to see and express the joy in a situation. Other times it was to vent or to dish out a verbal ass
whopping that I usually didn’t share with the offending party. If I happened to share my narrative with them, they are more
than likely still cursing the day I was born.
The
quick lowdown on me… single Mom of two amazing kids, put myself through school
after I divorced and am now a Financial Analyst (no need for any artistic outlet anymore,
huh?). I have lots of FUN friends that keep me smiling and laughing. I don’t
take life too seriously. I can be overly sentimental and sappy, optimistic,
blunt, sarcastic and self-deprecating all rolled into one... might be where the "contrary" comes from?
Thanks to some family and
friend’s encouragement I’ve decided to
share some of my anecdotes and stories.
I’ll let you be the judge on whether "thanks" truly are in order. If not, they ALL just might be receiving one
of those nasty grams from me in the near future!
I probably won't be writing anything about "how my garden grows?" So if you are looking for any helpful tips from a green thumb you might want to keep searching.
Hopefully, I can make at least one person smile, laugh or shed a happy tear.
Sooooo... welcome, welcome to my take on kids, life, and, well, ME!!
